Cleared and government security

Cleared security reqs, read the way a security officer reads them.

The cleared security pack teaches ANDY the vocabulary of Activity Security Representative and related roles, so a search can tell an active TS/SCI from a clearable candidate.

What the pack teaches ANDY

  • SAP means Special Access Program

Never SAP the ERP software. ASR means Activity Security Representative, not Azure Site Recovery.

  • A clearance is several questions

Level, status (active, current or lapsed), SCI eligibility and polygraph are separate requirements, each with its own evidence.

  • Clearable isn't cleared

“TS clearable” or “able to obtain a Top Secret” never counts as holding a Top Secret clearance.

  • The systems by name

DISS, JADE, Scattered Castles and SIMS are recognized, and JADE the database isn't confused with a Java framework.

Roles it covers

  • Activity Security Representative, levels I to III
  • Related cleared security roles

Each role has a criteria template in the pack. The Role Blueprint agent starts from it, so the draft you approve already speaks this language.

From the question bank

  • What clearance do you hold today, which employer holds it, and when was your last investigation or reinvestigation?
  • Has SCI eligibility been adjudicated for you, and are you currently read on?

Screening Questions, coming soon, will draw on these for the gaps in each candidate's evidence.
